From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This fine stout pours a
moderately deep and dark brownish mahogany with a nice head of
light khaki foam that settles to a thick ring and subtle layer showing light
lacing. Nose of subtle fruit esters from yeast mixed with light chocolate
notes with a touch of earthy malts. Flavors exceed the nose with dark
chocolate layers over subtle yeasty bread and cracker notes with a hint
of caramel sweetness with subtle orange zest and earthy malts. Nice
mouth feel; medium soft carbonation, medium light body, and a long
lightly dry finish.

Overall, a solid little brew that is a very good session stout.
Reminiscent of Antwerpen from Guinness.
