From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This very nice amber
pours a bright red tinged amber with a nice head of off white foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin light pool, and shows some nice light lacing.
Nose of sweet caramel malts and light toasted malts with a hint of herbal
hops and a touch of citrus. Flavors exceed the nose with a light pine and subtle
citra hop accented caramel malt backbone that is nicely toasted and above all
balanced and sessionable. Very nice mouth feel; medium light carbonation,
medium body, and a sweet subtly hopped finish.

Finely balanced and delicious. A perfect malt forward brew for the season.
