12oz can served in a shaker pint glass. Filled on 12/19/24.

Appearance: Golden yellow with a bit of haze and a 1/4" sudsy white head. Some large islands of persistent lacing.

Smell: Pine and citrus.

Taste: Blended citrus and pine hops at the start and finish with a cracker-like malt in the middle.

Mouthfeel: Prickly carbonation, a little thin.

Overall / Drinkability: It's mild in flavor compared to other APAs I've had, but it's easily drinkable. Strikes me as a beer meant to be "just there" with food, but nothing amazing otherwise.

Pours yellow orange with a haze to it. White head with compact bubbles. Laces a bit.

Smells of pine and oranges with a subtle bit of sweet grain.

Tastes of balanced caramel melts and citrus hops. Strong carbonation, a bit of bitterness, but after that, you get a lingering sweetness that is in common in all beers in this variety pack that I don't really like. East Coast, West Coast and Coast to Coast were the others in the pack.

This was the only one of the 4 varieties that I like, but I'm not crazy about it.

They all have a common hop flavor and a strong juiciness with a lingering sweetness that I don't like. In fact the other 3 are almost indescernable from the others. They all taste East Coast to me.

This one tones it down on the juiciness and sweetness, but it is also a smaller beer at 5.5 abv.

If you like the East Coast style of pale ales and IPAs, you will really like it.

Purchased as a single can from Kroger for $1.69. Poured into a nonic pint glass.

L - A hazy blonde with a thick and fluffy two-finger cream-colored head.
S - Honey, pineapple, and grass. Floral and earthy bases are present.
T - Slightly bitter, with notes of pine and fern. A touch of crabapple is here, followed by some light grapefruit and gooseberry. Finished with refined cereal grains and oat.
F - Light, soft, and refreshing. Medium carbonation. Very smooth.
O - I like this beer a lot. Refreshing, while still letting you know you had a full beer. I want to buy a case of this stuff and go on an impromptu camping trip with good friends on a sunny summer day with this beer. It's a perfectly-balanced beer, without any frills. For this, I'm giving it a lower score, but I also fully understand what they're aiming for here. It's the de-facto outdoors beer. Will seriously buy again!

Pours a murky pale yellow with moderate lacing. Smells earthy, yet sharp, notes of grass and pine with a touch of sweetness. The taste is bitter, yet not overwhelming. Somewhat one note, pine with unexpected undertones of overripe banana. Very drinkable, but the dank could be taken a touch further. Overall solid and goes down easy.
