From the brewery in a snifter. This astounding new WOW brew pours
a lovely coal black with a modest head of khaki foam that settles to a
thin ring with subtle lacing and a light dusty layer. Nose of fudge, vanilla,
char, and cream mingled with brulee. Flavors hit the WOW factor. Dark
semi-sweet fudge and cocoa nib dance about layers of vanilla and brulee
with moderate cream that appears more with warmth along with dark
fruits, dark breaded malts, dark coffee touches, and a nice bitter malt
finish. Excellent mouth feel; smooth, slick, coating, light carbonation,
and a rich full finish that is balanced perfectly between sweet and
roast.
