Appearance: Pours a somewhat hazy caramel color with a cluster of bubbles around the circumference but no real head; slightly leggy
Smell: Caramel aromatics with date and raisin; Bourbon tones complement
Taste: Caramel forward with the date and raisin flavors building; the Bourbon arrives, in the middle, to add a complementary aspect; the finish is sweet but not cloying
Mouthfeel: Full bodied but no carbonation
Overall: I don't really mind the lack of carbonation as the flavor profile is very well constructed and is enjoyable on a still basis
