Nice and dark, bit thin head that doesn't last. Smells of nutmeg and cinnimon. The dark malt comes through. Taste a little sweet for an oatmeal stout. Not mush smoak or coffee. Pretty good, but the nutmeg overpowers the other spices. Full bodied, proper for an oatmeal. Overall OK.

From the growler via the brewery. This interesting little stout
pours a rich blackish brown with a nice head of tan foam that sizzles
to a thin ring. Nose of chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, and touches of
nutmeg and faint dark fruits. Flavors fall in line with the nose with more
character. Dark chocolate and vanilla mingle with cinnamon and light
nutmeg with dark raisin notes and mellow oats. Nice mouth feel; medium full
body, smooth, lightly coating, light carbonation, and a rich spice finish.
Overall, for a spiced winter specialty stout it is pretty solid.
