Wheaty aroma has a somewhat fruity note, like apple cider, and hints of yeast and hay. Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a fairly thick, if not too persistent, pale golden head. Flavor - aah, superb! Wheaty, malty, a little fruity, hint of hay. Texture is smooth, OK body, OK tingle. Tried this from a growler. Good fortune to you, Strawn - Georgia needs more good microbreweries!

I tried this beer on tap at the Strawn Brewery tap room. It is also in distribution in kegs and available at a couple of local growler shops. This is an extremely crisp and dry American wheat. The beer is completely clear and has no fruity smell/taste at all. A lot of people at the tap room liked this beer, but it's not really my preferred style. It would be refreshing on a hot summer day, but I would prefer one of their other beers. This would be a great transition/introductory beer for your friends that prefer BMC.
