Served on tap in a 12oz snifter at the Tap n Handle in Fort Collins, CO.
Look- A beautifully cloudy reddish brown with thin white lacing adorning the sides of the glass.
Smell- tart and sweet like fresh cranberries and cherries. The funkiness is faint and there's a bit of dry hay-like wheat suggesting less of a pucker factor.
Taste- as indicated by the smell, this is not an overly sour beer. Pleasantly light with balanced fruit flavors and the acidity that you would expect from something called american sour.
Feel- light on the carbonation making it an easy drinker.
Overall- I was excited to try something from Loveland Aleworks on tap so close to the brewery. This beer did not disappoint and I would certainly order it again. A very sessionable wild ale that went down easy.
