A traditional and highly crushable German style Kölsch. Brewed with all local Root Shoot Pilsner and light Munich malt, and Nobility hops. This crisp ale-lager hybrid lends notes of citrus and straw with a balanced finish.

Poured from an undated 16oz can into my Warsteiner pils glass.
On the pour a one finger head of fine bubbles forms them over a few minutes dissipates to just a light covering over top. There is some lazy carbonation in a hazy golden body.
The aroma us dominated by yeast, with some bright almost citrusy esters coming through, nothing too dark but there is a quite big fermentation note, very German, but it's a lot. Some grassy noble hops are detectable but they are quite reserved. A light crackery malt is detectable throughout making for a nice grainy balance.
The taste is much less fermentation forward than the aroma with just a touch of the citrusy fruity esters throughout, but the crackery malts are much more dominant in the flavor. Right on the front of the sip is a nice spicy bitterness from true noble hops. Flavor is quite dry but still brings a nice malty flavor with much more character than a traditional helles.
Feel is very nice and a bit unique. Very easy to put down with a deglfinite crispness. The beer isn't all that big but despite a quick finish it leaves a subtly grainy taste that leaves you wanting more but is very refreshing with more carbonation bite than expected. Crushable.
Overall this is pretty dang good after being into lagers for a while. It brings more of that beer fermentation flavor without being off-putting and is incredibly refreshing and fun to drink. I'd like to drink this out of stanges with waiters constantly bringing more.
