Poured from a 16oz can into my warsteiner pils glass.
On the pour a decent 2 finger head that easily pokes above the rim of my glass formed. The head loses half its body relatively quickly and becomes rocky. The Body is a light golden straw with active fine carbonation. No real lacing.
Aroma is clean for an ale, and good for the style. Some corn as expected here with a bit of a crazy sweet note as well. Maybe cream of corn? A bit of beery fermentation but it isn't off and it let's you know this isn't a lager. Honestly it makes it smell creamier.
Taste is similar to the aroma with a smooth corny and malty front that is lightly sweet and velvety smooth, then a light but present bittering hop kicks in with a small lightly but brightly fruity ester note for a very nice balance. The corn comes back dry for a clean grainy finish. This is good.
Feel is full bodied, effervescent, extremely clean, and super refreshing. The finish dries out the palate a bit setting you up for your next sip. Despite perceived lightness and dryness, the finish is medium long and the beers presence is full and not at all watery. Refreshing and full.
Overall this is impressive. Nothing is off and it's super refreshing and light while still being full bodied and delicious. It is a lighter style but that allows breweries to show off their skills, and a beer like this took skill to make.
