Our Double Pilsner was brewed and dry-hopped with Amarillo hops. This beer tastes crisp and subtly hoppy while lending notes of tropical fruit, stone fruit, and citrus.

16oz, canned on 5-1-2023.
On a hard pour, 3 fingers of fine foamy white head formed on top of a clear golden body. Some lacing forms, but it isn't the best lacing.
Aroma is SUPER hoppy, almost to the point of smelling like hops straight out of the bag. There is a bit of that Amarillo funk, but it is very bright, herbal, and almost juicy.
Taste is super smooth, and not all that bitter, which is nice, since this is supposed to be a pilsner. There is a nice and solid pale malt finish. The hops are bright and present on the front bringing a semi-juicy flavor.
The feel is insanely drinkable for the ABV and the levels of hops here. Super smooth and if it weren't for the sheer fullness of the malt this one could be verging on dangerously smooth.
Overall, the hops are a bit overpowering in the aroma, but the freshness really does make up for a lot, even at almost 3 months old. Definitely not a full blown IPL.

Light gold body with fairly dense carbonation; thick, lasting head, white and sculpted in appearance; soft sheets and rings of foam paint the glass interior. Very grassy and floral aroma, lemon-like. A quite likeable taste; low-key malt and hop bitterness for a double pilsner; well-blended light malt and slightly herbal and citrus-like hop flavor. Medium body; lightly coarse on the palate; slight alcohol dryness.
The Amarillo hop character really pulls through with this beer. The delicate malt base is a fine vehicle for letting the dry-hopped flavors of citrus, grass-like, spice, and even some tropical fruit notes make their presence known. The fairly bold bitterness doesn't get overpowering either. All in all, this beer is quite drinkable.
