Purchased as a single can from Ingles for $1.90. Poured into a nonic pint glass.
L - Clear amber, with a two-finger off-white head. Head retains well, and with minimal lacing.
S - Toast. Oat. Toffee.
T - A really nice toasted wheat bread note sets everything up. Light toffee. Earthy. Well-balanced!
F - Medium-bodied, with medium carbonation. Refreshing. Really drinkable.
O - This isn't the first time I've had this beer. In fact, the first time I had this was a few years ago at a BBQ place in Brevard. Can't say I recall the name of the place, but it was pretty good. When I had this one back then, it was like it was now - toasty, almost caramel-like notes, and not at all bitter. Having this now seems like a throwback for me, and it's a solid red ale. One shan't expect complex flavors in this one, but that doesn't mean it's not great. Definitely recommend, and I'll buy this again in the future, for sure.

DATED CAN Pours a deep copper amber transparent with full tan head that is respectable and leaves nice lacing
Aroma is rich caramel malt, light fruity ester and nice hop.
Taste follows, with a good malt presence, light candied fruit , and a clean hop cutoff, making this one of the cleanest red ales I've had. Very very nice and 5.9% abv makes this a killer of killian's. Real craft red ale that impresses, if you like the style. Really good beer.

Picked up as part of a mixed 12-pack from the Ingles on Spartanburg Highway 8-30-21 for 17.99. Born on date MIA but would guess mid to late May; consumed 9-24-21.
Beer poured a classic amber-red with a very nice off white head with the original pour.
Nose has hints of citrus and caramel malts.
Taste is a caramel lightly roasted malt base that is hopped with maybe a Cascade or other citrus based hop. Finishes balanced.
Mouthfeel is neither overly refreshing or smooth.
Overall a quaffable American red ale!

Taste is like the nose, nice solid malt backbone. Nice enough hop backing earthy notes.
Mouhfeel is medium with smooth carbonation.
Overall a solid enjoyable Amber.

On tap at mom and pop pizza joint in Tryon, NC. Deep orange with little head. Nothing on the nose. Tastes clean and crisp up front, like a lager. Sour, tangy, and bitterly malty at the finish. Absolutely like nothing else I've tasted. An enigma wrapped in a mystery.

Sixers cans are now easily findable! Pours a rich amber color into goblet.
Easy to get big head if you want it. Fadres quick, nice grain malt sweet aroma with a faint fruity note.
Crisp and rich flavor with a nicely balanced body. Enough but not heavy or too light.
A real slammer, like all Brevard Brewing libations I've tried. I tend to love the local brews, and they make it easy!
Not being a homer, Brevard is top quality brew!

On tap at the brewery taproom.
Clear red brown body. Typical near bitter sweet balance for style but a bit more bitter and less malt forward.
Smooth medium body. Medium carbonation.
Herbal-earthy-bitter aftertaste.
