Though we focus on lagers, this India Pale Ale was too good not to serve. The hallmark of a great IPA is drinkability, and this beer is no exception. Five separate hop additions make this beer explode with citrusy hop bitterness, flavor, and aroma. Medium-light bodied and superbly quaffable, be careful with this one because the 6.0% alcohol content sneaks up on you quickly!

Picked up as part of a mixed 12-pack from the Ingles on Spartanburg Highway 8-30-21 for 17.99. Born on 6-18-21; consumed 9-21-21.
Beer poured a chilled golden orange with a very nice white head with the original pour.
Nose is pretty good, has some citrus notes but nothing super pungent.
Taste is a nice near sessionable with a pale malt base that displays old school WCIPA traits with a grapefruit and orange hop flavor and finishing with a nice pine bite; 7/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and smooth.
Overall this is a likeable easy drinking old school west coast that i would have again!

nice clear golden color, full white head, which lasts and leaves some lacing. plenty of constant bubble traffic rising.
smelled funky at first, mix of dank and citrus zest, but became nice interesting fresh melon type aroma shortly after, and slight bubblegum faintly there at some point...
taste is clean and bitter, on top of a clean malt to balance it out very crisp and clean. similar to Lagunitas , but not quite as complex and slightly lighter. very good
very clean finish makes it easy to drink a few.
well made. very drinkable, refined ipa, maybe it's more UK styled in it's refinement/mildness

12 0z. can poured into IPA glass -
Look - a rich deep honey golden transparent body, fair white head
Emits fresh grapefruit type hops galore from can, more complete from the glass as it goes...nice malts are included! YES!
Tases fresh clean, lightly sweet but hopped enough to be balanced yet still an easy chug.
Love the feel and carbonation aspects. Truly a fine southern-livin IPA that has enough flavor/body, but relatively light and easy compared to the trendy IPA of the month club.
Overall -THIS IS A MIGHTY FINE IPA by a fine craft brewery.

This opens with a more malty tone of tea leaf and grain before it opens up to a fruity hop of grapefruit and tangerines. It ends intensely bitter and almost soapy which kind of wrecked the overall experience.
