A: Pours dark brown with a light brown head.
S: Slightly burned (via microwave) Baker's chocolate squares, very mild caramel.
T: Chocolaty aftertaste left on the tongue, leaves mouth slightly dry. Mild hint of strawberries after burping (slightly unpleasant).
M: Surprisingly light, little carbonation, leaves mouth slightly tingly.
O: Didn't live up to my expectation, no love fest between us, this relationship is over when the bottle is empty.

I was expecting big things from this beer as Beer Works usually produces great stuff. Nose smelled a little of strawberries, but I didn't pick up much chocolate.
Then, I tasted it. I really wish that I hadn't. The combination of the bitterness and the strawberry-esque essence made it taste like burnt plastic. Bitter, nasty, burnt plastic. I gave it a second sip to try to give this beer a second chance, and then it went straight down the drain.
I hate to write bad reviews like this for hard working local breweries, but this one just completely missed the mark.
