Very rich beige head, lasts throughout the taste. Surprisingly little lace, some streaky, but blanketing sections for lace. Dark brown color where light does not pass.
Dark chocolate and hazelnut aromas. Light caramel sweetness in the background.
Burnt malt up front. Rich body with a lowered carbonation level. There's a notable hop presence to the swallow. Lots of burnt toast to the swallow with a lingering warmth and cocoa.
