Draft at Boston Beer Works. Poured into a pint glass.
Color was a clear gold with a small white head. Really nice lacing around the glass.
Aroma was all about citrus. Lots of grapefruit and juicy hop goodness. Really got my attention.
Taste was a nice balance of malt and citrus. The finish was bitter and clean. Definitely lots of hop resins.
Feel was medium and dry. Leaves your mouth wanting the next sip.
Overall, a very pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting a beer this good with such an unassuming name and description.

A bit gimmicky in that this is called a double APA, which really fits the IPA category. Pour dirty gold Nd crystal clear. Small bar-pour head. It does leave ring sticky lace.
Excellent grapefruit rind and a mild fruit punch sweetness.
Starts mild with straight forward pale malt flavors. The hop comes on real strong (85 IBUs), giving this a lip-puckering swallow and a very long bitter aftertaste. Full bodied and lowly carbonated.
