No head but rim bubbles. Decent spotty lace. Dark amber color with a touch of haze.
I smell lavender and Crystal malt.
Lots of spice--particularly lavender and rosemary to the taste. Rich body with a low carbonation. The aftertaste is predominantly the aforementioned spice.

The dominant tastes are chai, ginger, and toasted malt. Really festive and well done. Perhaps one of the better Beer Works beer of the month entries I have had in a while. Could do several pints.
