Described to me as a Hefeweizen/Stout blend. I chose to categorize this beer as a dark wheat beer, but I think many other categories may work here.
Pours like a stout--beige head, near black color. Little lace, though.
Smell: The first impression is of band-aide. I detect darker roasted malts.
Served at near room temperature like a cask conditioned beer should. Chewy body with a correspondingly low carbonation. Dark malt flavor but without tasting burnt. I don't detect any wheat elements.
