Dark amber color and clear. Good streaky lace from an initial moderate head (settles to rim bubbles).
Traditional pumpkin ale smell--mostly spice, light pumpkin nose.
Relatively dry for the style. Moderate spice up front, stronger hop in the swallow. Light on the pumpkin until the swallow and aftertaste. Decent holdover after the swallow. Rich body with muted carbonation.
