As a sailor, I took warning with this one on 11/14/2004. 12-oz. pour in a cylindrical glass at the source.
Nice, 1/5 inch cream of sticking head. As the name implies, light, clear red hue verging on amber and extremely dormant. On nose, soapy malt and touches of ginger with raisons swirling about somewhere in the background. Very light hop/malt balance with just a whisper of nominal bite at the end. This is an offering that proved to be quite drinkable, and would make for a wonderful session ale with its low abv and balanced overall character.
