Ran, ran as fast as I could with this one on 12/18/2004. 12-oz. pour in a short glass at the Fenway location.
Nice, volumetric loose head settles to a slight clustering with some lace. Copper hue is clear and shows little continued carbonation. Gingerbread man kicking down the door to the bouquet, with nutmeg, cinnamon, and some white pepper notes as well. Ginger, bread is definitely in there, but it dissipates quickly to reveal cloves, nutmeg, and green and red candy cane sweetness. Kudos to the brewer for taking a chance with this one, and succeeding.
