Found myself where the treetops glisten and children listen with this one on 12/18/2004. 12-oz. pour in a cylinder at the Fenway location.
Rorschach test of carbonation at start is ingenious. Plasmodium cider hue with check-list haze and unfathomable-ness. To nose, some holiday allspice, hot cerrano pepper, and a cloying roasted Granny Smith apple all mix about, unglued. Willow, and some other kind of beach pine are the initial flavors noted, as well as a tart and almost unwarranted salt bite; a frantic sweetness is subsumed by the WHITE spices. Overall, the tart quality kills this one.
