With Olerud in the line-up, I finally got my ass in gear with this one on 6/12/2005. 16-oz. pint at the Fenway location.
Described as a Light bodied beer thats brewed with real lime essence creating a crisp, clean, south-of-the-border character. Served with a lime! Barely a skim of carbonation, perhaps killed off by the lime wedge that sat precipitously on the glasss rim. Very hazy, milky yellow hue that almost cant be seen through. Kind of a panko, muted, wet malt tone on the nose; a little back alley in its presentation. Corny, real corny tasting with little else that jumps out; if anything, maybe straw, and light apricot?
Despite the above characteristics, if you are willing to throw caution to the wind, this is very drinkable and actually fairly non-BMC despite its light moniker; Id actually go for another.
