Brown like Coca-Cola. Beige head which hesitates to recede. Nice ring lace.
There's a medicinal smell that is distracting and overwhelming. Missing are the darker malt notes and no notable hop presence.
Better taste with some brown ale flavors. Thinner than expected with a higher carbonation level. Fortunately, the medicinal element is largely missing. Minor, but pleasant, hop in the swallow. Short aftertaste of watery semisweet chocolate.
