Moderate head but it leaves a weave of lace after the initial lasting ring. Cloudy as advertised with a dirty copper color.
Mild caramel start to the nose. The hop portion is like pineapple and mango. Notable yeast aroma.
The taste is drier than expected based on the smell. It's also a bit more spritzy than most pale ales. The body isn't full enough to compensate. Solid malt start and, interestingly, in the swallow. The hop is similar to white pepper leaving a lengthy aftertaste.
