Gold to amber color. Nearly clear. Small but lasting head which leaves an initial blanket of lace -- intermittent spots thereafter.
Musty malt nose with a mild flowery hop smell.
The malt is light in presence and flavor strength. The hop comes in quickly and strongly bringing a black pepper bitterness to the finish. Relatively thin but the carbonation is neutral. Overall, the flavor is traditional and uncomplicated.
