Tap at pub at Logan
Big creamy darker head, black beer very little light
Nose toasted biscuity brown malts, chocolate, cocoa, little caramel creamy, hint bitter hop
Taste more sweet toasted brown malts, caramel, chocolate, cocoa, little creamy, bit of spicy earthy hop bitterness, dry finish fairly bitter
Mouth is med bod, touch creamy, nice carb
Overall a very solid porter, and easy drinking, something I'd drink plenty of in the winter

Dark brown color where light passes through the edge. Decent beige head which leaves an initial ring of lace with some streaks later.
Dark, deep roasted malt with a touch of burnt smells. More (dark) chocolate than coffee.
Good body with muted carbonation. The black patent malt seems to be stronger in the taste. No milk sugars, so the brew is dry.
