The 2008 version is now on tap as of this past weekend at the Fenway location. Pours with a muddy, watery brown color with a two inch head. The smell was dominated by banana notes. Taste-wise, this one of the better BW beers I have had in a while. My wife had a Victory Wit beer, and I couldn't believe how much better this one tasted. It just overpowered your taste buds with bubblegum and banana notes. Very close to some of the highly rated German imports. This beer reinforces my opinion that BW does have some very good limited edition/brewed beers.

Sweet and malty with a noticeable alcohol that brings sweet and spicy flavours to the taste buds. Impressive head retention. Aroma is the mirror image of the flavour. Tastes somewhere between a subdued hefe-weizen and a German bock bier.
