Very dark, lots of lace, deep roasted taste. Likeable.

Moderate heat which lasts throughout the tasting. It leaves a cross between blanketing and streaky lace. The liquid is dark brown where no light passes through the edge of the glass.
Strong mocha aroma with a little bit of chalkiness.
The flavor is more bitter than the smell both from the notable hop and the black patent malt flavors. This is particularly acute in the swallow. Appropriate body with an elevated carbonation level. Long coffee-flavored aftertaste.
