Holy smokes this is a nice stout! Poured brownish-black in color with a small dark tan head. A mellow alcohol and fruity notes make a soft aroma. This is one full-bodied stout starting with roasted coffee and creamy malt flavors. Very smooth overall and the alcohol isn't as apparent in the taste as in the aroma. At 10.5% this is very drinkable on this cold rainy afternoon.

Very rich, beige head which dissipates to rim bubbles. Very little lace. The color is deep dark brown where no light passes at all.
Chalky with creamy coffee nose. Rather nondescript for the style.
The taste is a different story with a stronger berry-like sweet chocolate start. There's a strong alcohol warmth to the tasting. Rich body as expected with decent carbonation. The finish and aftertaste are a combination of all of the above.
