From the brewer's chalkboard: "coffee, cocoa nibs, pasilla peppers, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla. Roasty and toasty!"
The bartender said that the brewer made a mistake and put in too much pepper. The smell doesn't show this but the flavor has the heat show up. It's balanced, however, with a maple sugary sweetness.
Overall, I think it works despite the bartender's comments.
