Deep, dark brown but light passes through the center of the glass. Appears clear. Modest head which leaves only a fees spots for lace.
Lots of Christmas spices to the nose like nutmeg and cinnamon. Reminds me of eggnog.
The flavor is less dark than the color suggests. Sweet flavor with the aforementioned spices taking center stage. Very much a winter warmer. Highly carbonated with a neutral body. Not much milk, and it seems weaker than a Porter. I'd call it a Christmas Brown Ale.
