Needs a double pour to fill the glass. The head doesn't last, though, finishing with rim foam. Thick streaks for lace. Deep dark brown color where a small amount of light passes through the glass edge.
Dry, black coffee aroma. There's a bit of cocoa powder to the nose.
Creamy with far more chocolate to the taste, and far less coffee. It's also sweeter than the smell suggests. The hop presence is obvious. The "cookie" part shows up in the light sugar of this beer. Decent body for the style with predictable effervescence for a nitro pour. Dry finish with a long unsweetened chocolate aftertaste.
