Darker gold and cloudy enough so no light directly passes. Modest head but it leaves a near blanket of lace on the tulip glass.
Interesting combination of deep, rich malt and a floral hop. Slightly fruity but overall dry.
The flavor starts off prickly with a strong bittering hop and an above average carbonation level. The body and malt, while taking a back seat, are still strong enough to balance this beer. The finish is a little bit weedy and a little bit warming from the alcohol. Overall, a pretty good take on the New England styled IPA.
