At Beerworks Salem. Suh-wheat is "a golden weizenbock," according to said establishment. Yeast floaties.
Thin, insta-vanish white head over a opaque, dark custard color beer. Looks like papaya juice.
Faint clove and banana phenols but predominantly it smells like over pitched yeast and corn muffin. Has a Goya soda guava and papaya fruit character.
Taste is super sweet banana, like just before they become rotten (not necessarily a bad thing) with some clove struggling to keep up. Creamy mouthfeel is frustrated by that Beerworks fizz in back that they seem to add to all their beers.
It's in the ballpark?
