Review from notes taken 2/19

Served on draft in the brew pub slightly too cold in a long stemmed tulip/snifter. Pours a hazy orange with a creamy white head less than a finger thick. Decent retension and solid amount of lace on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, caramel, little bit of hops. As it warms, more citrus hop like grapefruit character comes out. Taste is vanilla forward with caramel notes, bitter hops and solvent alcohol. Finishes bitter and quite warming. Lingering taste of hops with a malty coating that clings to the inside of the mouth along with an abundant taste of grain. Med to heavy feel with moderate carb. Overall pretty good.
