Cloudy straw color. Decent head that quickly settles to rim bubbles. Initially, it has some ring lace, but this switches to slippery blanket lace
Mostly yeast on the initiall whiff. In the background is a blend of malt and unmalted graininess. No hop.
Lots of grain and yeast, bordering on a Saison for flavor. Very low hop which shows up in the aftertaste. The body and carbonation are fairly neutral.

Poured into a pint glass at Hingham location
Appearance: high carbonation, 1/4 inch head, dark straw yellow in color, clear
Smell: citrus hops
Taste: light grapefruit an butter dominate the first bit, floral hops and a touch of caramel in the follow
Mouthfeel: slightly bitter, moderate carbonation, light body
Overall: Beer works is hit or miss and this is a hit for me. Very delicate and tasty I could have several. Certainly in the California style, but less over the top with bitterness. This is one of the better beers I have had there.

Per the menu "All pale malt, California style ale with citrusy hop flavor and aroma."
A: This beer pours a nice clear, deep golden color with a one finger of white head. Head retains nicely, leaving wispy, sticky lacing along the glass.
S: Nose is bright floral hops over a nice malt backbone.
T: Taste is really impressive. Touch of citrus gives the bite at the forfront before moving in to a mixture of pale and light caramel malt backbone. Then comes the floral hops to dominate the finish.
M: Lighter side of medium body, medium carbonation, rather light on the tongue for my liking, though a touch oily.
D: Nicely blended, goes down easily. I could have several pints of this beer, though with a bit more girth on the mouthfeel would make this a fantastic go to beer.
