Nothing says breakfast like a 22oz. IPA. Amber color with a thin white head. That thin white head was as persistent as the Little Engine that Could and rode my beer all the way down my glass, mustering up enough lace to leave several drippy lace rings.
Aroma is fruity and citrus hop, cracker malt and a restrained ginger accompaniment. Taste is a cracker malt base, grapefruit bitter and a little heat from the ginger. Lingering aftertaste that is like sucking on a hop cone. I like that.
Hands down the best Beerworks beer I've had. The ginger is used well and sparingly, almost as a sub for a spicy hop.
