A - Deep amber gold, with a low white head, and very nice lacing.

S - Nutmeg, cinnamon, and a slight bread note.

T - Slightly watery with a mild bitterness.

M - Too light, but flows very smoothly down the palette.

O - Missing the acidity you would get from normal carbonation due to it being a nitro tap. Also doesn't really have enough of the thick nitro head you expect.

On-tap at Beer Works Fenway

A: The pour is amber in color with a finger of off-white head.

S: Smells a bit sweet with plenty of bread and toffee malt. There are some floral hop notes as well as a bit of citrus peel and light citrus fruit. A light herbal and earth hop note in the background.

T: As with the aroma, there is plenty of toasted malt as well as sweet toffee and a light caramel malt flavor. Some bread and light citrus, floral, and earthy hops. There is a very mild bitterness.

M: Medium in both body and carbonation.

O: A nice maltiness with a little bit of hop character.

Light tannish red body. Frothy white head. Good lacing. Light smelling brew. Mainly malty nose. Burnt grain. Subtle hops. Clean aroma. Taste is way above par. I was surprised by this American brewed Octoberfest. Crisp and clean upfront with very light fresh hops throughout. A big punch of bready grainy malt towards the end makes you come back for more. A very good Marzen. One of the best I've had in a while.

Clear auburn colour, awesome lacing to boot. Toasted malty aroma and flavour, sweetness shows in both. Hints of caramel show the further entrenchment of maltiness. Spicy hop back grows and the bitterness helps to balance. The finish is a hard a gathering of same with semi-sweet finish.

A stellar interpretation of the style and something I’ll go back to before it is gone.
