Deep reddish amber hue, trademark of the style. Good lace that clings just fine.
Decoction mash? Full bodied with tons of malt complexities. Full of sweetness, toasted flavours and hint if dark raw honey, caramel and light molasses. More bready than sweet with a growing alcohol as well. Hops are there and keep things in check but don’t get in the way.
Impressive with a big and flex malty stature. Possibly one of the best domestic Double Bocks I have tasted.
