Served into a tulip at Hingham Beer Works
Appearance: 1/4 inch head, clear, dark red in color, moderate carbonation
Smell: toasted malt and light Belgian spices
Taste: Belgian spices, cherry, coriander, slight hops
Mouthfeel: light bodied, high carbonation, sweet start, bitter body and finish
Drinkability: Like a very poor man's Mad Elf, I had a hard time finishing this one. Can't tell what exactly it is missing, but it was a little harsh. The flavors are a bit muted. Pass on this one, especially for the premium they charge for it.
