On-tap at Beer Works Fenway
A: The beer pours a pale yellow color with a short lived white head.
S: Sort of a sugar and corn based aroma here. Not much different than what we've come to expect from the industrial adjunct lager. A bit of grass and a light fruity ester note to it.
S: The flavor is fairly watery though it is sweet with plenty of corn flavor. Some light hop notes in the form of grass and straw with just a very minimal bitterness.
M: Light in body with medium carbonation.
O: Another lackluster light beer from Beer Works. They probably don't need so many on the menu...

Poured on-tap at Canal Street, and served in a pint glass. The beer is almost clear, with a yellow-gold tint and ring of film on top. Very translucent and vibrant. Good, clean aroma, with hints of grain, floral and berry essences, and light hopping. The flavor is light and crisp, with toasted and floral (maybe jasmine?) flavors and a crisp, slightly spiced hop at the end. Tingles the tongue a bit as you drink. The aftertaste is burnt/toasty, with a clean, crisp finish. Good representation of the style in body and feel, and an interesting spin on the flavor profiles.
