On-tap at Beer Works Fenway
A: The beer pours a light brownish color with a finger of off-white/khaki colored head.
S: Aroma is of sweet malt with a nice nutty note to it. A fair bit of toffee and bread. Other than that, it's a bit bland. Just a light hint of earthy hops, maybe some pine, too.
T: Sweet and malty with a nicely nutty flavor. Plenty of toffee and toasted bread to go with the mildly earthy hop notes. A mild bitterness and a decent flavor of caramel.
M: Light to medium in body with medium carbonation.
O: Interesting. Sort of a mix of a dunkel lager and a brown ale.
