Hazy orange-gold. Small but lasting head. A constellation of spots.
Mild aroma for the style. Low yeast bite which I enjoy.
Good corriander bite on the swallow. Slightly sour but mild. Full bodied with a low carbonation level. Short aftertaste of white pepper. No problems but still rather routine.

Stopped into the Canal St. Beer Works for lunch on 14JAN12 with Artied2, before heading over to the Frozen Fenway BC-NU game. I had a couple of tulips of this with my Spicy Chicken Sammich, at $8.50 per 14oz glass.
Color was a medium to dark-medium copper, and it was clear. Carbo was steady, and the head was off-white, fine and thin. Lacing was quite nice, with lots sticking to the glass. Aroma had some tropical fruit and a touch of spiciness; quite inviting. It was quite smooth on the tongue, with a solid medium body as well.
Lightly fruity, the flavor had some solid tropical fruit-like notes, with mango, pear and green apple present. Also had some candy-sugar qualities, as well as a subtle, spicy-peppery touch near the finish. Almost Tripel-like, in my estimation. Pretty solid, overall, though a tad pricey. Zum Wohl!!
