Stopped into Lowell Beer Works with Alewife for some 54th revolution of the sun celebration action....

First round was a pint of this India Pale Lager... NOT to be confused with their Dye House IPA.... Stange glass contained a clear, medium golden bier, with scattered carbo. Head was thin and wispy, with a little lace here and there. Nose was lots of rindy citrus, with little malt evident. Body was medium, with good smoothness on the tongue.

Flavor? Lots of citrus, most of the rindy, pithy variety. Overall it was quite bitter, and finished dry, with some suggestions of herbal action in there. Not bad, overall... Prosit!!
