Served on-tap in a nonic, the beer is a thin, dark, opaque, blackish coloring with a thin, clingy, filmy light tan head that coats the glass as you drink. Aromas of toasted grains, baker's chocolate, and lightly roasted coffee. Flavors are more coffee-centric, with a very bitter backbone. Chocolate highlights provide a balancing sweetness. Bitter, roasted aftertaste with a thin, slightly dry body. Bitter coffee ground linger on a clean finish. Solid brew.
