As the previous reviewer said, it's tucked away under an IGA. Very laid back atmosphere, friendly staff. Had 8 beers pouring on my visits in early May 2013. All beers seemed heavy on the malt side of things, so if that's your style, you should be pretty happy. Two stouts on when I visited, and both were quite good. Cheap growlers and a counterpressure fill system.
Totally worth a stop if you're in the area.

A small brewery / tasting room ducted under the SPD market in Nevada City. Takes a second to find. Mellow vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. long narrow interior - simple design, alot of of high tables with a few long curving cushion benches and low barrel tables, collage art on walls. Clean, fun to hang out in. Welcomes kids, no food but bar snacks and allows outside food. Normally have 6-7 house beers (no guest taps) available as tasters, pints and growler fills. Beers all tend to traditional German / English styles but all done very well. Their IPA is defiantly not a "west coast" IPA. Really enjoyed the Cali common and export stout. If your in the area absolutely worth a stop.
