draught
single hop: Centennial
Almost crystal clear, medium orange look, with some gold overtones. Darjeeling tea aroma, on top of lightly caramelized malts. Definite fine Darjeeling tea flavor, with an off-dry, medium roast malt foundation. Full, but bright mouthfeel. The bite is restrained and carries to the finish with the malted Darjeeling, right there with it.

Greenway IPA, 6.9% ABV, 70 IBUs, all Centennial hops.

Appearance: slightly hazed, copper-colored, full, bright white head.

Aroma: vibrant, fruity hoppiness, bursting with tropical fruit, citrus, pine, all the traditional suspects here in abundance.

Taste: even more of that pounces on the palate. One for the hop-heads only, but for us, it's a definite delight. Slightly astringent, and beautifully bitter. Drinks like a dream, too. If only this could be a regular beer. I've already declared it my favorite yet, from this brewery (although it's hard to argue with Big Jim...). It's still early yet. Does it compete with Snownami, Snowpocalypse, etc? The barley-wine, the doppelbock, all those others I never took notes on? Maybe so. Maybe I'm just a sucker for Centennials?

L: Amber in color, slight haze, two fingers head, excellent lacining.

S: Smells like a basket full of centenial hops, green, crisp.

T: bitter and hoppy up front. Exactly like the smell. Nice appricott, pineapple and mango taste after. Leaves on a hoppy and skunky after taste.

Mf: oily, light-medium body. Little carbonation, warms throat.

O: This is a great IPA. If you like north west ipas, you'll love this. Hop forward, nice caramel and tropical backbone. Must try.
