Northboumd Standish Amber arrives a clear deep amber color. The head is a dense half inch of foam the recedes slowly, and leaves really good rings. This is a really good looking beer. The aroma is quite balanced with some caramel, and some floral hop notes. The taste is well balanced too, and is a bit brighter than the aroma. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, this is a really good example of an amber ale. It is one of the better ones I've tasted.
