Wild Rice Amber Bock. Fall 2020 Version 6.8% ABV, 20 IBU I take it this edition is a lager. They have been Ales sometimes in the past. Tested from 750ml crowler.
Look: Very transparent redish slightly dark amber body, not much head that rapidly dissipates.
smell: bread, caramel, wild rice(berry)
taste sweet bread, caramel, wild rice. Smooth, sweet. the wild rice comes out more as it warms.
Thin mouth feel

Pours a mostly clear amber color with a beige head. Smell is fruity with a hay like sceny. Taste has melon apple, and citrus with a grainy wheat finish. Mouth feel has a grassy wheat feel mixed with some fruity floral hops.

This beer arrives a clear bright red color. The head id an inch in height, and recedes quickly into sparse lacing. The aroma is of caramel, citrus, cherry, and flower bed. The taste is similar to the aroma with tons of fruit and flower. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation, and a smooth texture. Overall, this is a really good amber ale. The wild rice cuts through the caramel just enough to let the taste of the hops shine, but without letting enormous bitterness come through.
